Explore Thailand : Urban Therapy

This summer we follow the Egyptian Queen, Miss Egypt Universe 2018, Nariman Khaled to explore Thailand one more time. “Last year was my first time in Thailand for the Miss Universe contest 2018. And I was amazed by everything from beautiful attractions to local people. I cannot wait to come to Thailand again.”- Ms. Nariman.

Stay Healthy

When people think of Thailand, each person has a different image in minds – most thinking of island destinations, some picture colorful temples. In fact, Thailand is also known to be the one of the best medical hubs in the world too. According to Thailand Business Review, Thailand has the most JCI-accredited hospitals in South East Asia. With the medical treatment in our mind and the city-center is a must, we quickly check with the freshly revamped Movenpick BDMS Bangkok. It is beyond rarity to find this scale of tropical garden in the middle of Bangkok. With the holistic concept of healthy living, guests are invited to enjoy healthy dining options while relax in comfort and recuperation. “This place is beyond the expectation for a regular 5-starred resort. The green garden, relaxing ambience and aroma, not to mention the bedside sleep therapy speaker. Staying here for a week, I will be like a reborn! Connecting a BDMS wellness clinic to the resort is also ingenious. To me, true beauty comes from a healthy mind and body, and this place is a perfect choice to maintain your healthy lifestyle during a holiday.”

Beauty Therapy

If anyone comes to Bangkok, you may notice skin clinics or cosmetics clinics everywhere. As a woman, planning a trip to include facial treatments with professionals is always a great idea. Wouldn’t you love it to be back from a holiday and look better! In this trip, Nariman kindly accepted an invitation from Doctor Saran Clinic – a humble clinic, yet so advanced in surgical techniques, renowned for its craftmanship among beauty pageants in Thailand. Right here, she tried the facial HIFU and Blinks IV treatment to freshen up herself as a welcome gesture to Thailand. The treatment also yields an instant result with zero down time, perfect for starting a holiday beautifully.

Shopping Therapy

Bangkok without shopping is a complete failure. However, we recommend you to shop a little from here and there and save the major items on your very last few days especially if you are connecting domestic to other provinces. Despite collecting fridge magnets from around the world, may we recommend ladies to start collecting local designer outfits for a change? This idea perfectly synced with Nariman’s mind. Exploring shopping malls with Thai Brands on the BTS route minus the busy crowd, Emporium simply glide on to our shortlist. Emporium is directly connected to the BTS skytrain stop Phrom Phong, international luxury brands and chic retails instantly hit our eyes as we walked in. Time easily drifted by as we explored offerings through each shop – any serious shopper would understand this. We finally reached our destination at Thai Designer Zone on the first floor. This special zone houses 32 unique Thai designer brands showcase authentic ready-to-wear. Why buy a fridge magnet when you can take a wearable piece-of-art home? Nariman chose her lively new dresses from Tohns and accessories from Suvimol. Fast-forwarding to the last day of the journey, our beauty queen doing a last-minute shopping at ICONSIAM. This iconic mega-shopping complex situates next to Chao Phraya River, this allows us to stylishly take a boat ride to the mall either from the Peninsular hotel, or board from Sathorn pier connected to Thaksin BTS Station Exit 2.
